Share Your Story

I'd love to hear your story.

If you'd like to share your Becoming Her story, I'd love you to write up to 1000 words.

Please don't worry about making it perfect. Write it in your own voice, as though you were telling your story to another woman over coffee.

The questions below are simply prompts. You don't need to answer every one; choose the ones that help you tell your story.

  • Tell me a little about you. Who are you, and what does life look like for you today?
  • Who were you before this chapter? What had your life, career or journey looked like?
  • Was there a moment when something changed — a decision, loss, opportunity, feeling, conversation or realisation?
  • What did you want to change or become? What was calling you forward?
  • What scared you? What nearly stopped you from taking that first step?
  • What did you actually do? What was the first step, even if it was tiny?
  • What have you learned about yourself?
  • Who are you becoming now?
  • What's still on your list? What would you love to do, experience, create or become next?
  • What would you say to another woman who thinks she's too old, too scared or too late?
And please don't try to impress us. Be YOU.
  • The messy bits.
  • The doubts.
  • The funny moments.
  • The wrong turns.
  • The things that didn't go to plan.

They're often the very parts another woman needs to hear.
